By accessing Pinebox, you agree to these terms. We keep them simple because we hate legalese as much as you do.

1. Acceptance

Pinebox ("The Service") is provided by Marqupine. By using our tools, you agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service immediately.

2. Use License (MIT)

The source code of Pinebox is open-source under the MIT License. However, the hosted service at pinebox.dev is intended for human use.

You are free to:

  • Use the tools for personal or commercial projects.
  • Inspect the source code to verify security.
  • Fork the repository and run your own instance.

3. Prohibited Actions

To ensure the service remains fast and free for everyone, you agree NOT to:

  • NOUse automated scripts/bots to scrape the tools.
  • NOAttempt to reverse engineer the proprietary API endpoints (if any).
  • NOUse the service for illegal activities or cyber-attacks.

4. No Warranty

"The materials on Pinebox are provided on an 'as is' basis. Marqupine makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability."

In plain English: We try our best to be accurate (e.g., validating a JWT correctly), but if a tool has a bug and it causes an issue in your production environment, we are not liable. Always verify critical data.
